ABOUT US
Created by riders for riders
TongDuro is located in Tong Valley on the outskirts of Bradford and was created to provide riders with the opportunity of getting back to the basics of riding bikes and having fun times! We understand the importance of racing competitively however, many race events in the UK struggle to provide a format where riders can truly enjoy themselves.
Tonguro is different, created by riders for riders who just want a day’s racing against their mates on fun trails with good vibes. We wanted to create a day where anyone can turn up, race their mates, win a few goodies, chill to good music, eat some decent grub and ride without any pressure on fitness or performance.
If you’re after a day out racing your mates against the clock, then Tongduro is it!
Located upon private land; this therefore being the only opportunity to ride these trails throughout the year meaning everyone rides blind, no-one has an advantage (unless you’re Sam Hill).

What Happened at TonDuro 2019?
LADIES FIRST
The ladies got us away first and smashed it down the valley, no stopping em.. Well done to our queen of the hill Vicky Chapman who is clearly over the moon, sure the free beer influenced the smile though! Congrats to Anna Fenwick & Angelica Slobodzia also for grabbing 2nd & 3rd respectively.
TIME GENTLEMEN
The guys up next and although Grant Braddock rode like a demon for the overall win we cannot help but salute Oliver Raine for those pants in grabbing 2nd place. Sam Needham grabbed a well-deserved 3rd place following a steward’s enquiry over his age having been submitted at 48 years old, not bad for a veteran aye!
HANDS IN THE AIR
Big thanks to our very own resident dj and now head of entertainment for 2020, James Lee of Lovers Records. James can be regularly found in the Tong Valley keeping the local badgers & Alpaca’s in groove, thankfully he found some time to set the vibe for our race day and keep everyone chilled with some classic vinyl beats.
NOURISHMENT
The ladies kept everyone going throughout the day with plenty of bacon butties, snacks, brownies… great job & thanks to Lisa, Stella & Sarah for giving up their time feed you ravenous vultures, some slower trail times were had post lunch due to their not for profit business ethos and generosity of portions!
